How many decibels of protection do ear plugs for gun shooting give you?
I’m going to a concert, and I wonder what headsets work best for earplugs Schutz.Regelmäßige long term? plug shot? Jacks or musician? Anyone have answers?

Look at the NRR (noise reduction rating) of any plugs you want to buy – the higher the number the better. The plugs I wear to shoot have a NRR of 31dB.
But here’s the secret: ear plugs help, but they’re not foolproof. The problem with plugs is that they only fit in your ear, and that’s great for blocking MOST loud noise, but a fair amount of sound is transmitted from that little knot of bone behind your ear. So to truly protect yourself, you’re always better using over-the-ears hearing protection that covers that portion of your skull as well. Dunno how that would look at a concert, though
